Chandani Chowk literally meaning moonlight square is the most famous historic street of Old Delhi. It is the busiest market of Delhi and India’s largest wholesale market. Even after 300 years of its establishment, this place still retains its old world charm and is simply irresistible. Enter the well know Parantha Wali Gali and choose from a wide range of paranthas, starting from potato parantha to rabri parantha, khoya parantha and almond parantha.  Other famous lip-smacking delicacies you can enjoy at Chandani Chowk are jalebi, rabri falooda, fruit chaat, dahi bhalle etc. There are specific shops famous for specific food items and have been running for years. It is a paradise for food lovers!

Once you are done with gorging on culinary delights, visit Khari Baoli, the spice market and buy some to take back home. Kinari Bazaar is another great place in Chandani Chowk where you can buy zari and zardozi trimmings and tinsels and other accessories used in clothes. The cloth bazaar of Katra Neel offers various kinds of fabrics like silk, satin, crepe, muslin and cotton. Dariba Kalan street is popular for pearl, silver and gold jewellery and attar (natural perfumes). There is so much you can buy from Old Delhi markets.

The rickshaw ride will take around the Sis Ganj Sahib Gurudwara built at the spot where Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru was beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam,  Jama Masjid, the famous mosque and the majestic Red Fort.

Thereafter, you will be transferred to your hotel/ airport.
